About The Event

DiveLogix Scuba Training and Support PSD Instructors will be facilitating the NAUI Public Safety Diver (PSD) Course for the City of Key West Fire and Police Department Dive Teams.

(25) Fire/Rescue and Police divers will become fully certified NAUI PSD divers to serve within their respective teams. The NAUI Public Safety Diver Course is designed to equip divers with the specialized skills and knowledge required for conducting underwater search and recovery operations in various public safety contexts. This comprehensive course covers advanced diving techniques, search patterns, evidence preservation, equipment maintenance, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures tailored to the unique challenges faced by public safety divers.

Through a combination of classroom sessions, practical exercises, and scenario-based training, participants will develop the expertise needed to effectively assist law enforcement agencies, fire departments, rescue teams, and other public safety organizations in their missions to protect and serve communities. With a focus on safety, professionalism, and teamwork, this course prepares divers to respond confidently and competently to a wide range of underwater emergencies and incidents.
