NAUI Launches Automated DAN Student Membership Program Empowering Entry-Level Divers with Seamless Safety Coverage
Riverview, FL – November 7, 2025– The National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI) is proud to announce a groundbreaking advancement in diver safety: the launch of the DAN Student Membership Program automation, an initiative that streamlines the process of protecting student divers through free, automatic access to DAN Student Dive Accident Insurance.
Through this innovative program, eligible entry-level students beginning their eLearning in NAUI CORE are now presented with an automated prompt to enroll in DAN’s Student Membership Program. With just one click, students can activate up to $25,000 in dive accident insurance, fully funded by Divers Alert Network (DAN), ensuring peace of mind from their very first breath underwater.
This fully automated process removes the administrative burden from affiliates, allowing students to self-enroll directly at the start of their online training. The program is available at no cost to the student, instructor, or affiliate and is backed by the trusted name of Divers Alert Network.
*Student Dive Accident Insurance provides Accident Medical Expense Benefits for AGE, DCS, and other covered diving accidents that occur both in and out of the water during training for entry-level scuba and breath-hold diving. Available to diving students ages 8 or older. Coverage is valid until completion of the last certifying dive, or up to 26 weeks after enrollment, whichever comes first.
