The future of NAUI starts with strong leadership. That starts with YOU!
Have you been a NAUI Instructor in good standing and active status for the past three years? Are you dedicated to the success of our Association and willing to give your time and talents to Board service? Do you have what it takes to work in team, accelerate change, and amplify messages as a NAUI ambassador?
If so, then we need YOU.
The Election Committee is preparing for the 2026 NAUI Board of Directors Election. This year, two (2) Board of Directors positions are due for election. All positions have a 4-year term.
We need Board members who work full-time in diving, as well as those who work in other industries and bring other professional skills. Most of all, we need people willing to work hard and represent the interests of our global membership. If that sounds like you, please consider running for the NAUI Board of Directors.
If you have questions, you can speak to any sitting Board Member or the Elections Committee.
Strong candidates may have experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Corporate governance and bylaws
- An understanding of general legal issues, particularly in the area of non-profit entities.
- Marketing, particularly in the area of social media.
- A good understanding of information technology.
To be considered, nominees must submit their nomination forms to the Election Coordinator no later than 5 PM EDT on July 31, 2026.
Eligible members wishing to run in the 2025 Board of Directors Election must complete the Nominee Application packet and obtain the required endorsements to begin their nomination process.
All Board of Directors Election documents and forms can be found in CORE via Member Resources, by opening the “Board of Directors Elections” dropdown.

The Elections Committee will review the nominee applications and develop a candidate slate for approval by the Board.
