Kris Shannon has over 20 years experience in diving and expeditions. He started out assisting the Cambrian Foundation with cave exploration and scientific sampling in high school, his journey took him inside of the Floridan Aquifer and through the jungles of the Yucatan. Later he provided his expertise on the opening team for Discovery Coves Grand Reef & SeaVenture Dive program safely conducting over 100 daily guest and employee dives in the Grand Reef exhibit. Today Kris enjoys teaching divers at all levels. NAUI Lifetime Instructor member (#55256) with additional designations as a Course Director, First aid Examiner, Freediving Examiner and Technical Diving Instructor.
