This is not a standard ITC. Special training based on SCUBA Diving Therapy concepts is integrated into the program, giving candidates tools to create more competent, focused, and confident divers. This proprietary system is only available in Cozumel, Mexico.
Training begins March 1, 2026, offered remotely and/or in person.
The Instructor Qualification Program (IQP) will take place March 21–24, 2026 at the SCUBA Diving Therapy Academy in Cozumel, Mexico.
Participants must meet all prerequisites as outlined in the NAUI Standards and Policies Manual.
Participants will also have the opportunity to earn a CIMAC AC specialty certification in coral restoration and preservation. Customized lodging and transportation packages are available upon request.
Cost:
$2,000 – NAUI ITC (includes eLearning and IQP examination)
$650 – DAN First Aid Instructor Training (includes eLearning and examination)
