The water it takes to produce the average American diet alone—approximately 1,000 gallons per person per day—is more than the global average water footprint of 900 gallons per person per day.


The average new 2,000 square foot home requires an entire clear cut acre worth of wood to build, that's around 1000 trees.


According to EPA estimates, because so many of them are recycled, aluminum cans account for less than 1% of the total U.S. waste stream.
