Course Dates: July 9-11 and July 23-25
Course Times: 9:00am to 6:00pm
Location: Blue Octopus Scuba, 4154 Duke St, Alexandria, VA 22304
Course Director: Ray Reneau
Instructor Trainers: Scott Rose, Greg Jolley
ITC Staff: Luc Murphy, Ron Filadelfo, Brian Hills
Course Prerequisites:
- NAUI Divemaster or another agency leader
- Nitrox certification
- CPR, 1st Aid, O2 certification within past 24 months
- 100 logged dives diving experience
- 18 years of age or older
- Physical within past 12 months with Doctor’s Signature
- Completion of eLearning with passing score on pre-test prior to start date
Learn from some of the best in the industry over 150 years of diving and teaching and SCUBA industry experience with this team.
Course is conducted over 2 weekends and dives will be at Lake Phoenix or vicinity.

- NAUI eLearning Access
- NAUI Instructor Materials (As packaged with NAUI Instructor Packet)
- Breathing Air for course duration
- Rental tanks and weights for pool and open water sessions Pool Fees
Candidate must provide the following:
- Complete Scuba equipment and exposure protection
- Approved Surface Marker Buoy (SMB)
- NAUI Leadership Instruction Textbook ($45.00)
- NAUI NITROX Textbook ($39.00)
- NAUI Master Scuba Diver Textbook Manual ($69.00)
- NAUI Dive Table Air & NITROX Dive Table ($18.00 ea.)
- NAUI RGBM Dive Table ($13.00)
- Scuba Skills Slates ($10.00)
- Diver Checklist Slate ($3.00)
- Lake Phoenix Entrance Fee
- NAUI Dues upon completion
