The NAUI First Aid – Powered by DAN curriculum provides NAUI leaders with a new array of courses to offer their student divers and the general public.
Simply go to http://naui.diverelearning.com/, register, complete the Core Module (first), and then complete the Instructor Modules for the course(s) offered.
NAUI Instructor Trainers and Course Directors must complete all modules available: Core Course, Basic Life Support: CPR and First Aid (BLS), CPR Health Care Provider (HCP), Emergency Oxygen for Scuba Diving Injuries (EO2), Neurological Assessment (NEURO), First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries (HMLI), Diving Emergency Management Provider (DEMP) and Diving First Aid for Professional Divers (DFAPro).
Additionally, NAUI ITs and CDs should register to attend a NAUI First Aid IT Workshop. These workshops will be offered at various trade/consumer shows and other locations throughout the year. They are intended to refresh your First Aid and CPR skills, provide valuable information concerning new standards, as well as give you information on training on how to implement and conduct these courses. These skills are essential as you work with your NAUI Leadership Candidates during their First Aid training.
Check the Events page on the NAUI Worldwide website for additional First Aid IT workshop dates, times and locations, as well as registration information: https://www.naui.org/events/.
Space is limited in each workshop, so be sure to sign up early.
