Why I Am A NAUI Green Diver
I believe we all need to act responsibly regarding the environment in order to preserve the experience we have enjoyed for future generations. I like the idea of the Green Diver Initiative empowering individuals through social networking to share their discoveries and efforts to preserve and protect the world's aquatic environments. Many individuals taking small positive actions can make a significant difference.
I started diving in 1970 in Southern California. Expanded my experience in Kauai, Hawaii in 1971. I became a NAUI member in 1978, NAUI Course Director and Chapter Leader in 1980, Branch Manager in 1988, HQ Training Director in 1993, NAUI Vice President in 1997. I have enjoyed diving and traveling the world and have made many friends as a result of my diving. I recommend it to anyone seeking adventure.
