During March’s safaris, the Coral Reef Gardening work team conformed by the Calipso dive center’s working staff, the C-FORCE foundation, Jorge Tadeo Lozano University’s biologist and National Natural Tayrona Park’s staff has been doing coral reef fragmentations journeys, with the main propose of reallocated a total of 5.400 new coral fragments on the new gardening spots located on the Gayraca’s bay in the center of the Tayrona National Park, this in order to move on to the next level in our Coral reef project restoration. With it a lot of new learning opportunities will take off for experimented and divers becoming or student interested on take the Coral Garden course and be certified by the NAUI international association.
As well as the opportunity that student and certified divers would be part off it as witnesses in this important step towards the recuperation and conservation of marine environments and the active performance of the community in the process flow.
