Why I Am A NAUI Green Diver
Years ago I was raised around the rocky coast of Maine in a town called Sullivan. The sea shore was a five minute walk from the house I grew up in. I've admired the ocean ever since our father took us sailing every summer. Many times I would lay down on my stomach at the bow as we were cliping along at full sail. One time I noticed dolphins under the water matching our speed. That was the day I wanted to know more about what thrived under the surface.
It wasn't until years later since my days of sailing with dad and the rest of the family that I went to scuba school. I was certified basic open water through NAUI in 2007. I graduated Drury University in 2010 with a degree in environmental management and currently getting ready to take a NAUI class in dry suit diving. I plan on taking more NAUI classes to make to dive master.
