Did You Know?

Today most bottles and jars contain at least 25 percent recycled glass.

A cross-country airplane trip (about 6,000 miles) could be worth more than 1,700 standard toilet flushes.

Each ton (2000 pounds) of recycled paper can save 17 trees, 380 gallons of oil, three cubic yards of landfill space, 4000 kilowatts of energy, and 7000 gallons of water.
