NAUI Green Diver Initiative Sponsors Sarasota Bay Watch
In March, 2013, the nonprofit NAUI Green Diver Initiative donated $2,500 to Sarasota Bay Watch, also a nonprofit organization based in Sarasota, Florida, dedicated to protecting and restoring the waterways of Sarasota Bay.
The donation provided by the NAUI Green Diver Initiative will help support events organized by Sarasota Bay Watch, such as the upcoming Jim Neville Marine Preserve Cleanup with Pineview High School, the 5th Annual Sister Keys Cleanup, the 3rd Annual Scallopalooza, and more! Visit the Sarasota Bay Watch website for more information about the organization, their events, and how you can help!
On March 23, 2013, Sarasota Bay Watch held their 3rd Annual Skier’s Island Cleanup with Riverview High School. The event was a huge success, with participants collecting over 500 pounds of trash!

The NAUI Green Diver Initiative is proud to support Sarasota Bay Watch and is happy to aid them in their efforts to get the community involved protecting and restoring Sarasota Bay.
The NAUI Green Diver Initiative, formed by the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI Worldwide), in association with the Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund (DWCF), is an online community dedicated to empowering individuals who, through their initiative, discover how they can make a difference – no matter how seemingly insignificant. Make the P.A.C.T. to Practice Aquatic Conservation Together, because together we CAN make a difference!
