50th Anniversary Event Guidelines

OBJECTIVE
|
|
|
To gather together as many NAUI members, divers and non-divers in one place to celebrate
NAUI’s “Strong Past and Bright Future”
|
|
|
FORMAT
|
|
|
There is no set format for a 50th Anniversary event. Those that are already scheduled include Tech Courses, dive
resort vacations, cocktail parties and in-store birthday parties with cake and ice cream.

|
|
SCHEDULING AN EVENT
|
|
|
To schedule an event, go to NAUI’s Home Page and click on the 50th logo.

Click on “Add an Event”
Use the Event Type drop-down to select “NAUI 50th Anniversary”
Fill in as much information that is available (you will be prompted for required fields).
Click Submit
Your submission will be reviewed by the 50th Anniversary Event Coordinator and if it meets the guidelines posted
the following business day.

EVENT PROMOTION
|
|
|
Emails will be sent from NAUI HQ to help promote your event.
|
|
|
PROMOTIONAL ITEMS
|
|
|
After your scheduled event is approved and posted, contact the NAUI 50th Anniversary Coordinator at
marketing@naui.org for information on available promotional items.
Promotional items provided will be based on the scope of your planned event. Special 5th anniversary souvenir cards
will be available to every attendee at a subsidized price.

|
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
|
|
|
Financial obligations for a posted event remain the sole responsibility of the organizer. NAUI Worldwide and its
subsidiary companies assume no financial obligations regarding any posted event.

|
PLANNING
|
|
|
For planning purposes please provide the anticipated attendance for your event to the NAUI 50th Anniversary
Coordinator at marketing@naui.org. Also in
order for attendees to receive their 50th anniversary souvenir card be sure to have
a digital camera and internet connection available so that they can register on
site.

FOLLOW UP
|
|
|
The 2010 Photo Contest will include a 50th anniversary category.
Be sure to take plenty of pictures and submit them for valuable prizes,
such as dive equipment, dive vacations, and Dive Quest at
Walt Disney World Resorts in Orlando, Florida.
